Login Security Tips You Need to Know
Logging in to vcity888 securely is not just our responsibility as a platform — it also involves habits you need to practise yourself. Fortunately, these steps are simple and take very little time.
First, always make sure you log in through the official URL vcity888.onl only. Phishing scams that mimic the vcity888 site design are becoming more common in Malaysia, so get in the habit of checking your browser's address bar before entering your password. The official vcity888 site always displays an SSL padlock icon indicating a secure connection.
Use a unique password for your vcity888 account — never reuse the same password from your email or social media accounts. A strong password contains at least 8 characters, combining uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. If remembering complex passwords is a challenge, consider using a trusted password manager.
The most effective and straightforward security measure is enabling two-factor authentication, or 2FA, in your vcity888 account settings. With 2FA, every time you log in from a new device, a one-time verification code (OTP) will be sent to your phone number. This means even if your password is compromised, a hacker still cannot access your account without physical access to your phone.
If you are using a public computer or a shared phone, make sure you log out of your vcity888 account when you are done. Do not use the "Save Password" option on a browser that is not yours. vcity888 also automatically logs out inactive sessions after a set period as an added security measure.
Login Notification:
vcity888 sends an SMS or email notification every time your account is accessed from a new device or location. If you receive a suspicious notification that wasn't initiated by you, change your password immediately and contact customer support.
Forgot Password?
No need to worry — the vcity888 password reset process is quick and secure. Click "Forgot password?" on the login form, enter your registered phone number or email, and follow the OTP verification steps. Your new password can be set in under 2 minutes. For additional help, our support live chat is available 24/7.
